flowers by alice germinated in june 2002, with vases and flower-holding vessels bought from junk shops and garage sales, into which we packed luscious foliage, twigs and branches, exotic orchid plants, a cactus or two and all manner of flowers – some spectacular, some understated – all with the promise of wonderful floral creations to come.
