In September 2006 we open up our Before & After School Care & Vacation Care Centre which caters for children 5-12 yrs.Staff are carefully selected for their qualifications, skills, experience & their genuine commitment to providing the highest possible quality of care for children at our centre. Staff show a commitment to high quality child care which values and supports the principals of the Quality Improvement Accreditation System and Code of Ethics of the Australian Early Child Hood Association.Our centre operates under the National Quality Framework and is including the Early Years Learning Framework and the quality rating system into our daily routines and programmes. Each centre is registered first and then on cyclical system makes self assessments with the help of carers and families and children to address their service.We aim to foster a sense of independence & the early development of interpersonal skills, still allowing children the nurturing they need and deserve!The Centre is licensed by the Department of Education & has met 100% of the Tasmanian Child Care Licensing Guidelines & is licensed for 36 children. This license is reviewed every 24 months.
