The Federation Gothic building housing Maitland Regional Art Gallery is an awe-inspiring example of early 1900s architecture.MRAG offers in total, eleven exhibition spaces in three distinct wings across two levels of the art gallery. MRAG accessibility features include a lift, interior & exterior wheelchair access ramps & a sensory garden. The wing of the building dedicated to children & education: the Art Factory fosters appreciation to the arts for the specific audience of children, schools, family groups & youth.The MRAG retail outlet showcases the wares of local, national and international artists and craftspeople as well as objects from the Pacific and the East including Africa and Mexico. The MRAG shop also offers toys and decorative art from international destinations. Adjacent to the Art Factory is the MRAG cafe Seraphine capable of catering for a large number of patrons book at table for breakfast or lunch to enjoy the best food and coffee in town.Seraphine will now also open on the evenings of MRAG exhibition opening celebrations.What{s on at Maitland?
