The Commodore Motel in Mount Gambier was built in 1963 on the site of the town{s old Sale yards. Established by successful motelier George Frew as part of his established chain of motels, stretching throughout Western Victoria and Queensland. The Commodore was taken over by Leanne and Evan Kosch in January 1989. Soon after the business was acquired, plans were development and renovations commenced on the motel{s accommodation, function and dining facilities. Since, the continued modernising and upgrading of the motel{s facilities has remained an important aspect of the establishments operation. Prior to your meal enjoy the drink or cocktail of your choice in the warmth of our bar and lounge overlooking picturesque Frew Park.
