Bungawitta is proud to be a community-based childcare centre and is currently licensed for 47 children per day. A Board of Management made up of parents from the centre and at times other community members have supported the centre.Our curriculum has been influenced by the Educational Project of Reggio Emilia (Italy), as well as Te Whariki (New Zealand{s Early Childhood Curriculum Framework) and Essential Connections (Tasmanian Department of Education, Early Years Curriculum Framework). Bungawitta board of governance has identified ongoing professional development of our educators as a priority to ensure that we continue to deliver innovative programs to the children.Learning environment: The natural world is a major focus of our indoor and outdoor environments; we have spaces to enchant and enrich you child{s imagination, creativity and sense of wonder.
