Sorrento Restaurant started over 50 years ago by an Italian born tailor who originally came to Perth from Paris. After a few years he decided to turn his hand to restaurateur, which proved to be a great success. With the original Sorrento founded on William Street and looked after by Pappa Ribaudi, Sorrento has been producing the finest in Italian cuisine for the past 63 years. Today in James Street, Alfonso entertains with a welcoming smile, a sparkle in his eyes with the occasional joke all behind his irresistible, Latin charm.
