The children{s program is based on their individual needs and interests using The Early Years Learning framework.The centre opened on Monday July 24 1995. The child care part of the centre is now a 30 place centre, catering for 10 under 2{s and 20 over 2{s.We provide: Safe and challenging learning in a spacious well-equipped environment Education, care and guidance from experienced and qualified staff Programs that foster development through all areas of caring and learning A programme inclusive of diverse family and cultural backgroundsWe can have up to 20 children in the over 2{s room. As part of being an integrated service with the preschool/kindy we also cater for transitions between child care and kindy. We offer before and after kindy care and staff assist the children with the transitioning between each area.We monitor and record the children{s learning and development guided by the Early Years Learning Framework outcomes. Their progress is shared with parents and the preschool staff to provide a smooth transition with respect for their needs and current understandings.
