The Fox Hay story begins way back in 1954, when the two co owners, Basil Fox and Ian Hay begun manufacturing wooden crates and boxes for packaging purposes. Eventually there was little need for wooden packaging as the availability of cardboard proliferated, at this point Fox Hay began to specialise in selling timber wholesale and by 1990 Fox Hay began selling Timber and carpentry supplies in a retail fashion.Since then Fox Hay has become one of the best known timber suppliers in Melbourne.
