Started in 1968 by Ed & Heather Lightbody the business now employs 20 people. We specialise in the transportation of light cubic freight and have carried for some of Australia{s largest manufacturers of plastic and foam products.Option One - Lightbody Transport can supply truck/s and driver/s as required by you. The truck/s and driver/s are completely organised by you according to your daily deliveries. Option Two - You simply supply us with a daily job sheet which states the deliveries, time slots and specifics for the following day. Although we currently do not have any onsite warehouse facilities at our Richlands site, we have proven experience in warehousing and distribution. We have been able to provide our customers with storage facilities on other occasions with limited notice and are willing to do so again to meet any customers{ needs. Our invoicing system is very effective and provides our customers with a detailed report which is easily understood and tailor made for our industry.Drivers are supplied and required to fill out a duplicated runsheet for all deliveries which are completed on a daily basis. Along with your invoice you will be supplied with a copy of the driver{s runsheet which allows you to monitor your deliveries.
