Woy Woy Community Aged Care is a public benevolent charitable organisation, owned by the community.Woy Woy Community Aged Care provides high care nursing home and low care hostel accommodation and care services. Through the united determination of the local community that permission was granted in 1985 to build a residential aged care facility with recurrent funding from the Commonwealth Deptartment of Health & Ageing.Dementia UnitsSecure dementia units are located in both high & low care areas providing care for residents with dementia, in a secure and comfortable environment. Dementia-specific recreational activities are conducted daily.High CareCare is provided to high care residents by registered nurses, enrolled nurses and qualified care staff. Registered nurses are on site 24 hrs, 7 days a week.High care residents{ rooms are a combination of 4 bed, 2 bed and single rooms and single rooms with ensuites.Our high care facility is fully air conditioned and built on one level for easy access. There are large plasma television screens located in both lounge rooms. Residents may access television in their own room for a small fee.
