My name is Jean Ritter and I would like to thank everyone who has been a faithful supporter of music education and music excellence in the community. It has been my pleasure to have been a music educator for 41 years! I feel very blessed to have been able to work at something that has always been my passion. Through these years I have taught privately in a home studio as well as had the privilege of owning and teaching in my own music school. Although I no longer have other teachers working with me, I continue to enjoy teaching in the lovely facility I built in 1998.I offer piano instruction for Beginners through Teachers ARCT. The lessons are private, although I work with small groups for the young beginners. Children as well as adults are welcome and I format the lessons to accommodate the desires of the students. No previous study is necessary. Whether it is following the Royal Conservatory of Music route or learning for personal enjoyment and therapy, I am happy to individualize the music study.All levels of Rudiments are taught as well as the levels of History and some of the Harmony. To accommodate the busy life styles of the students, I offer these courses during the summer months in a "crash course" format.
