Six months ago I began a journey of change. I was overweight, out of shape and felt like I had reached a time in my life where that was how you were supposed to look and feel. My energy level was so low that I was exhausted at the end of each day. I had already experienced brief attempts at weight loss with poor results. Diets worked for a while but the weight always came back and because of joint problems and previous injuries exercise was always painful and sometimes dangerous. My husband had been going to 180 Degree Fitness for about 5 months when I began to notice a huge difference in him. I was astounded at the changes in his body and eating habits. Since I am a country girl and good ole southern cook I was amazed at his determination and resolve. I finally decided to meet with John and began the process of finding myself again. I used to look in the mirror and wonder what happened to the woman I used to be. Now, when I look I think to myself, There she is. In six months, I went from a size 14-16 to a size 2-4 and lost 50 lbs. Now I am building muscle and cannot believe the changes in my body. I always thought that after you reached 50 (I{m 53) there was only so much you could do and you should just embrace your age. Your metabolism slows and the extra weight is inevitable. Ladies, don{t believe it! You can change your metabolism and your body! Thanks to John, my husband and I have both changed our bodies and outlook on life. Thanks John!! Melissa McHargue.
