We believe that learning to play an instrument is about more than just playing notes, rather it is about learning to engage the heart, the mind and the imagination.Our student body is made up of children and adults alike, from beginners to accomplished musicians. Whether you are hoping to make music just for fun, or whether you are looking to prepare for graded exams, we can help you in your musical endeavors.I am a voice teacher and a teacher of Music for Young Children, and I am happy to be the owner and director of the Leduc School of Music. My intent is to make quality music instruction available to students of all ages in the Leduc area. I believe that a musical education is crucial in developing a society of whole, well-rounded, and cultured young people.I have chosen the teachers who work here because they agree with this philosophy. One common thread that links all of the teachers at the Leduc School of Music, is that we have each had a solid training in our respective disciplines, and we are, for the most part, all classically-trained musicians. A couple of our teachers, in the area of guitar and drums, are not from the classical world, but are performing artists working in the Alberta indie/folk/rock arts scene. We are all interested in sharing what we have learned with our students.
