David Haslett formed Ronin International in 2000 having served 33  Years as a career detective with the New Zealand Police. David was the  overall commissioned officer in charge of the Christchurch Criminal  Investigation branch at the time of his retirement, former Commander of  the Christchurch Armed Offenders Squad and South Island Anti Terrorist  Squad (Special Tactics Group), and Commander of the Christchurch Police  Negotiation Team (trained in New Scotland Yard).   As well as extensive experience in managing major criminal and  homicide investigations, David is also a specialist fire and post blast  investigator, University Lecturer, and a foundation member of the  Independent Forensic Practitioners Institute (IFPI).
