SEC Group is a privately owned New Zealand company that consists of a  range of transport related businesses. The Group consists of SEC  Engineering & Design, SEC Machinery, SEC Sales & Leasing , SEC  Auto Electrical. SEC Machinery is the New Zealand wide distributor of  Ranger Loaders and Carter mini excavators with several dedicated  branches and a growing network to support and service our products.  We  offer a wide range of transport equipment (trucks/trailers) for lease  and purchase.  Our sales team is regularly on the road to provide an  easy and effective means to buy and sell new and used equipment (trucks,  trailers, machinery, plant etc)  SEC Engineering produces plant and machinery for heavy industry,  general engineering and the transport sector. Our Invercargill workshop  has profile cutting and bending equipment along with lathe and milling  facilities. All welding is carried out by our NZS 4711 qualified  welders. This enables the workshop to quickly and cost effectively  handle a wide range of work. Our staff have extensive knowledge and  experience in the design and manufacture of new truck bodies and  trailers and also modifications / repairs to existing vehicles.  We have a wide range of designs available to suit most requirements  and can also design and manufacture specialised trailers and equipment  to meet the specific needs of discerning clients. The SEC Design office  is staffed by qualified Mechanical Engineers, equipped with the latest  computer aided technology (CAD & FEA). They have extensive  experience in general engineering and the transport sector. Their aim is  to produce simple elegant solutions to meet the clients requirements.  Our team can provide the certifications needed to meet all heavy  transport rules, OSH safety standards and general mechanical designs.
