We can assist with, sports injuries, orthotic therapy and treatment of verrucae, corns and callouses as well as surgical correction of, for example, ingrown toe nails, hammer toes and bunions.We do accept referrals from other health professionals however this is not essential and you do not need a referral from a GP to see us. Usually initial consultations take 30 minutes. On your first visit we will ask you questions about your health, family medical history and present symptoms. Patient confidentiality is assured. Following diagnosis of your symptoms, we will discuss the various treatment options with you. Our broad scopes of practice allow us to provide a very wide variation of treatment modalities for a very broad cross section of the population base including children, adults, athletes and non-athletes.Our treatments encompas general diagnosis and palliative treatment of common chronic conditions such as corns, calluses and verrucae as well as providing specialist services in podiatric biomechanics/podiatric sports medicine and podiatric surgery. • PODIATRIC BIOMECHANICS AND SPORTS MEDICINE ::We specialise in biomechanical assessment of foot and leg dysfunction/injury in athletes and non-athletes often utilising taping, stretching/strengthening advice and orthoses (orthotic therapy).• PODIATRIC SURGERY :: We also specialise in the surgical correction of ingrown toe nails, hammer toe and mallet toe deformities and bunions usually utilising local anaesthesia (which eliviates the surgical risks associated with General Anaesthesia, though General Anaesthesia can be provided when necessary).
