Maggie Dixon-Lester had already been a real estate agent for more than 20 years when she and her husband, Graham Lester, decided to set up their own agency. They noticed that a lot of the big real estate offices in Whangarei were just franchises of bigger companies, and had lost some of their local touch. Maggie and Graham wanted to celebrate the city and really get involved with the community, in the way only an independent company can. Maggie Dixon Real Estate opened officially on February 7, 2003, with a Whangarei focus and the ability to change quickly to keep up with the unique Northland real estate market. Maggie and Graham love what they do and are pleased to have been joined by a talented mix of sales consultants: Some with decades of experience, and some who are new to the industry, bringing energy and skills that keep the office fresh and innovative.
