Cutting Edge Circus was set up by Sandy McClure and Tim Chown. They met in 2004 at a performers convention and immediately struck a chord through their mutual love of contact staff. Recognising the skills that they each had, they decided to work together to try to push the boundaries of this developing art. Over the next few years they put together critically acclaimed staff routines, some of the first video tutorials in this area and developed a working relationship that has gone from strength to strength.
