In January 1970 Jack Hardy decided to start his own locksmith business. As a former Fairfax County Police Officer and MP while in the U.S. Marine Corps, he knew security was his business it was work he enjoyed.With an initial investment of $2500.00, he went to Potomac Bank and was given credit, by the late William Ritter, V.P., to purchase a new locksmith service van.At the time, Bonnie, Jacks wife, was raising 4 children. While working as the Resident Manager for Grandview Apartments in Baileys X Roads, she was receiving a small salary and a free apartment. Mr. Abe Wagman, head of the Management Company allowed Bonnie to put a phone in her office to answer locksmith service calls for Jack while she worked.
