Andy and Michelle Knevelbaard have over 35 years professional experience working with pets. Together we have cared for almost every type of pet you can imagine. Since 1989, Andy has worked in full line pet stores and maintained fish aquariums for many businesses and residents in Amarillo. Michelle has trained dogs professionally since 1996. After years of consideration, we decided to open Animal Lodge in 2006. The business has been a blessing from the Lord. We love to get to know our customers and their precious pets. Andy and I were married on August 26, 2000. We have three beautiful children, Nicolas who is 11, Eliana who is 4 and Amelia born January 5, 2014. In addition to running Animal Lodge we homeschool our children. We also enjoy caring for our many pets -two dogs a mini Poodle named Bosley and a French Bulldog named Birtie Botts, a canary named Barron, two fish aquariums (1 saltwater and 1 freshwater) and several hens! We have a passion for holistic living.
