Dr. Avera received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry. After nine years in general practice he returned to UCLA and received his specialty training and certification to practice the specialty of Periodontics and a Masters in Oral Biology.He lectures both locally and nationally on topics related to both Periodontics and Dental Implants. His Quarterly Newsletter contains up-to-date news and information regarding Periodontics and Dental Implants.
