John Lynch has been designing and making fine jewelry since 1972. He was formally trained as a goldsmith in Southern California, where he was born and raised. He discovered the joy of making jewelry while taking classes at a local community college in the early 70’s and has been perfecting his skills ever since. John came to Sierra Moon 25 years ago to take a job as a goldsmith; little did he know that he would someday be a co-owner of the business.As a master goldsmith John works skillfully with all types of precious metals and gemstones and delights in the design and production of all types of fine jewelry. He also enjoys restoring antique and vintage jewelry with the skillful use of a state of the art laser welder and many other metal working techniques.John is married to Janiene, his wife of 40 years. They have two adult sons. In their spare time John and Janiene like to travel around Northern California enjoying all the natural wonders this area has to offer.
