Recently opened, Buttonwood Studio offers portrait photography to the Austin and the Hill Country. We have one studio location in South Austin, which offers a good natural light environment and provides a selection of photographic settings. We bring to our work a love for photography, experience in a diverse set of techniques and styles and a high level of professionalism. Being comfortable with your photographer is very important in portraiture so expect to find us accommodating of your schedule and very easy to work with. We use fast lenses to shoot in all situations, including low light. When natural light is insufficient we have different solutions depending on the type of shoot: for weddings we have a strong preference to off-camera flash; for location and model photography we may prefer to supplement natural light with portable strobe lights.
