David attended the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and graduated cum laude with a bachelors of science in management science – economics and a minor in philosophy in 2004. During college David interned for Congressman Bill Thomas, The Committee on Ways and Means, and then Majority Leader of the California State Legislature Kevin McCarthy. After college David accepted a a Dean’s Academic Merit Scholarship to study law at the University of San Diego (USD).David graduated from USD with a Juris Doctorate (cum laude), and his Masters of Law in Taxation (summa cum laude) in 2007, and passed the bar the same year. David has continued his legal education following graduation by participating in a number of legal education seminars, including, most recently: The 31st Annual Southern California Tax & Estate Planning Forum (October 2011) USC Real Estate Law and Business Forum (March 2012)
