David Brown is the owner of Northstar Photography located in Orono Me. He has been a photographer since 1984 and is passionate about portraits of high school seniors, families, children, pets, and business photography. David has had a love of art and drawing from a very young age. Halfway through college David discovered photography and changed direction from commercial art to photography and the rest is history.Northstar Photography has been one of Eastern Maine’s most popular portrait studios for over 28 years. Winning photographic awards such as the Kodak Gallery and Fuji Masterpiece awards. David has also been named as Maine Photographer of the year as well as having been voted the Bangor Area’s top photography studio 5 years in a row. Northstar Photography is known as a fine art boutique style studio specializing in uniquely styled children’s and senior portraits.“Originally based in Downtown Bangor, In 2011, the perfect opportunity came about for our studio and we decided to move the studio to our new location on Essex Street in Orono. After about five months of construction dust and dirt from landscaping, we were finally able to move into our brand new country studio location in September of 2012. We have fallen in love with our new space and from the comments we are getting, our clients do too!!
