Hi! My name is Nicole, but most people call me Nikki. I absolutely LOVE taking pictures. Sometimes, taking pictures is just what the doctor ordered and it completely rejuvenates me. I have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; however, 10 yrs ago, in 2002, I left corporate America when I gave birth to my first child.In 2006, I bought my first DSLR camera… I was now a Rebel! I learned how to use my new camera and really challenged myself to use it exclusively in manual mode. Three years later, I was ready to upgrade and dove into running my own photography business. Photography can be such a complicated realm that connects both art & science. This is one of the reasons why I get so excited about photography… my engineering background can engage with my creative side.Once I established an official business in 2009, my family was headed for some drastic changes. In 2010, the Lord blessed us with a new opportunity in a new state – we were moving to Arkansas! After spending most of my life in Michigan, we loaded up and moved to Bentonville, which now feels like home to us.
