Colette Steckel is one of Mexico{s most renowned jewelry designers thanks to her unique and creative techniques transforming the earth{s natural stone flavors into exclusive, unique and magnificent designed luxury jewelry pieces.Born to a French-Mexican family, she first came into contact with stones at the age of thirteen, since then she has been designing and creating amazing jewelry. A certified graphic designer and a GIA trained gemologist, Colette has workshops in Los Angeles & Mexico City, where her own on-site bench jewelers reside. Her flagship store is in the prestigious commercial center “Park Plaza” in Mexico City and she has another one in Los Angeles.She uses the finest materials in her pieces including different color of 18K gold, platinum, and diamonds as well as precious and semi-precious stones of the highest (AAA) quality, as well as unique and rare gems. The stones are often cut and carved specifically for Colette.With her exhibit in November of 2006, she became the first Jewelry designer to ever display her work at Latin America{s most prestigious gallery, Casa Lamm in Mexico City. Colette exhibits her work twice annually in international shows; Couture & TranoÏ. Colette looks forward to reaching new frontiers with her exclusive line in the near future.
