Ben{s Lawn and Garden is a family-owned and operated business in Blue Springs, Missouri. It is owned by father and son, John and Ben Scire. John Scire started the business with a truck, selling produce in different areas around Kansas City. Then he opened a fruit stand in Independence, Missouri. He started adding flowers and seasonal items. When he saw a growing community in Blue springs, he moved his operation there in 1972. The demand for flowers, seasonal items, shrubs and trees soon dominated and produce was phased out in 1989.
