The Housing Authority owns and operates 180 units of public housing and administers 90 Section 8 certificates to provide decent housing for elderly and low-income families. The Housing Authority has annually been rated as a High Performer in the HUD Public Housing Management Assessment Program. The Housing Authority has a very nice Community Room with kitchen facilities and a lovely atrium, which is provided to the public for $50 per day. Priority is given to Housing Authority residents and service organizations.
