Mark Broder, owner of Broder Jewelry Design has been making fine jewelry for over 27 years. Mark is a second generation jeweler, apprenticing for his father in a small shop in San Francisco starting in 1983. He later worked for a custom jeweler in Walnut Creek for 17 years where he became a master stone setter and hand engraver. In addition to working at the jeweler’s bench, he also worked directly with customers designing custom pieces. He was educated in diamond grading by the Gemological Institute of America. 8 years ago, he opened his own studio at home. His reputation for quality has had retail stores, manufacturers and top designers from around the country consistently seeking his services.
