D&D Decorators, Inc. opened for business in October of 1986. Our services included carpentry, windows and painting. We started with one truck, one employee and a few tools. In early 1987 the Company expanded to include several employees and we streamlined our services to only residential and commercial painting and wallpaper hanging. In 1988 we increased our staff to approximately ten employees and were on our way to becoming a major competitor in the Glynn County area. By 1992 we had twenty employees and had, in fact, become a major competitor in our industry. In 1997 we expanded our service area to Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. We were up to twenty-five employees. In 1999 we began construction on our new office and shop complex. We moved in January of 2000. Due to our continued growth, we now employ over fifty people and are the largest painting contractor in Glynn County.
