Christian Credit Counselors was founded in April 1990. It’s a direct offspring of Credit Counselors Corporation which was founded in 1962. Edward J. McTaggart, founder of both, comes with more than 37 years of experience in the credit-counseling field, and was the president of the American Association of Credit counselors for a number of years. Now his son, Greg McTaggart, is carrying on the legacy as the president of Christian Credit Counselors.
