Domino{s Pastries.In 1938, Vincenzo Claps left his hometown of Potenza, Italy and traveled to the United States. After arriving in Ellis Island, NY, Vincenzo traveled to Chicago to be united with his father and brother with a vision of building a new life and business. The business, Domino{s Pastries, is still owned and operated by the same family that started it. There working everyday, are Vincenzo, his wife Theresa, and their son Vito. Each person in his family has spent time working there, in the store, decorating room, delivery service and bakery room. No matter where you are inside, the family atmosphere is strong, alive, and a large part of the business.Domino{s has come to be a tradition in many families through countless birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries. We often see couples who had their wedding cakes from Domino{s return many years later for their anniversary cakes. We are a part of many family traditions, and have been so since 1952.Bringing you delicious cakes, pastries and cookies is what we do for you. Making that a continual part of your family traditions is what you do for us. We thank you for making us a part of your family traditions, and we hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
