Although Dennis does not have a medical degree, he has been studying medicine since 1981, when he began his legal career as a trial lawyer in the Tampa Bay area primarily handling medical cases. Over the past two decades, Dennis has consulted with physicians throughout the United States concerning medical malpractice actions, wrongful death and nursing home abuse, thereby developing contacts with numerous medical experts whose combined expertise covers virtually every area of medical practice. Dennis, a native Floridian from Coral Gables, was a varsity athlete at Wheaton College (track and football) and Florida State University (track) where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree with academic honors. He then worked to pay his way through law school at the University of Florida College of Law, where he received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree. Dennis later obtained a diploma in advanced trial advocacy from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. From 1981 until 1993, H. Dennis Rogers was a trial lawyer who represented hospitals, physician groups, and physicians in medical malpractice cases. Since 1993, Dennis has applied his legal and medical knowledge and his years of courtroom experience to serving the victims of medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and negligence, defective medical products, and automobile accidents.
