Verde Valley Montessori is an educational organization utilizing the Montessori method of education in its program.VVM implements our Montessori program in the following way: Multi-age level classrooms Use manipulative materials that are self-correcting Classrooms setup to facilitate self-directed and cooperative learning Offer students choice Global, multi-cultural and scientific curriculum Peace education Mastery /outcome-based learning.The Montessori classroom is organized into several areas by curriculum. In the younger three- to six-year-old environment these are every-day-living skills, sensorial, language, math, geography, science and art. The older level of the six to nine and nine to 12-year-old class curriculum areas consist of language arts (reading, literature, grammar, creative writing, spelling, and handwriting ), mathematics and geometry, history, geography, science, art, music and movement activities.
