The overall purpose of Open Bible Baptist Church is to bring glory and honor to God, to bring people to Jesus Christ and help them grow to be more like Him, and then duplicate the process in others. The core focus of OBBC is to evangelize and reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to fulfill the great commission, we must be reaching the world around us for Christ. We believe that every believer should have a desire to be more like Christ. In order to accomplish this, believers must learn about His character through a personal relationship with God and His Word. We learn these truths and doctrines through sound Bible preaching and teaching, which will help us, grow and develop into vessels that God can use for Christ.
