I have always been concerned about using the old style burning road flares. At that time they were the best we had. I started researching the net and found a product called FlareAlert. After I read some of the statements about the product I thought, this may just be my answer. They make a very tough electronic flashing LED flare that can be seen for a long ways off. It has a magnet so you can stick it on the back of the vehicle or lay them on the ground. I purchased a set of three with a case from Amazon.com. When I got mine one did not work. I called the company and they made an exchange with no questions. I like seeing a company that does the right thing with a good product. Every vehicle needs a set of these; of course I hope I never have to use it. Lloyd Kurtz
