Dr. Derek Nevar earned his DDS degree and graduated from The Ohio State University - College of Dentistry in 2007. Upon his return to the Cleveland area, he began as an associate dentist in the practice co-owned by his father and uncle (Nevar & Nevar, DDS, Inc.) with offices in Chesterland and Euclid. Additionally, he joined the practice of Dr. James Wensink (Northcoast Dental - Euclid, OH) as an associate dentist where he developed his skills and discovered a passion for providing dental care to children and educating them about dental health. In January of 2010, Derek opened the doors to his own dental practice (Derek T. Nevar, DDS, LLC - Euclid, OH) after having accepted an offer from Drs. Sheldon Korman and Melvyn Diamond to purchase their practice (Korman & Diamond, DDS, Inc.) and provide dental care to their patients and friends as they entered into retirement.
