About
While on a recruiting trip for the family owned children{s summer camps, Camp Arrowhead for Boys, and Camp Glen Arden for Girls, I saw the great barns built by the Amish in Lancaster County PA. I was hooked. I was determined to learn the lore and the skills of timber framing. At that time, the camps had been in my family for fifty years. In 1984 I went on to include a timber framing program into the summer activities there. Each year we would build small cabins to be placed in the surrounding forests for overnight camping trips. The boys who elected to join the project loved it, and gained much through the learning process. Later, when building a new campus, I built a 24 stall timber frame horse barn, a timber frame blacksmith shop, and a timber frame indoor climbing wall and pavilion. Each of our hand crafted timber frame structures is a work of art, regardless of size, whether gazebo, pavilion, full timber frame or hybrid timber frame structure. We work to bring beauty, elegance, durability, and energy efficiency to your residential, commercial, or public space.
