Joe, a lifetime resident of Caroline County, received his degree in photography from Chowan University in 1977. He has been a full-time professional photographer since 1978, opened his first studio in Bowling Green in 1981, and then moved to his beautiful home-studio in 1990. Joe enjoys hiking, camping, fossil hunting, Hokie sports, baseball, and of course, taking photographs! He has served two terms as the Governor of the Northern District of the Virginia Professional Photographers Association, served on the Board of Directors for two years, and has been a member of the VPPA and the national branch of the PPA for over 35 years.
