First Baptist Church has had a long-standing commitment to missions—spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to our community, our nation, and our world. We are renewing our commitment to pray for, give to, learn more about, and to be “hands on” in our efforts to do missions. Of course, our greatest mission field is Gainesville...and we can’t wait to see all the ways that God will use us for His glory right here at home! First Baptist partners with the as the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and Florida Cooperative Baptist Fellowship as well as the Southern Baptist Convention and Florida Baptist Convention for the purposes of missions, education, and helping/healing ministries throughout our state and the world.
