About Starnes Orthodontics Dr. Les StarnesDr.  Starnes is a life-time member of the American Association of Orthodontics. He received his dental and orthodontic degrees from St. Louis University. He is board certified and has treated more than 10,000 patients in his private practice. Teaching and lecturing at major universities has led to publishing professional scientific articles. Currently when not practicing he spends time on his ranch and with his wife, nine children, and grandchildren.Sandra Stevens - Office ManagerSandra Stevens has worked in the orthodontic field off and on since 2003.  She and her husband Todd have three children, Cameron, Emma and Addison.  She has lived in Gainesville for five years now and she loves the sense of community and family that she feels here.  She enjoys watching football, shopping and spending time with her family.​Doctor Starnes has been practicing orthodontics since he completed his residency at St. Louis University in 1966. He is a past president of the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation and past president of the Orange County Dental Society.
