Field Stone Winery was founded in 1977 with its own celebrated estate vineyards dating back to 1894.It is owned and operated by John & Katrina Staten and their family.Field Stone’s winery and vineyard estate is located conveniently on Highway 128, the key artery linking northern Sonoma County and Napa Valley (the winery is just seven miles from Healdsburg and fourteen miles from Calistoga). Its cozy and inviting underground tasting room is open from 10 to 5 seven days a week. Its picnic ground, under its spreading oaks, has been called “one of the best spots for a picnic with a vineyard view in the Alexander Valley” (Laura Finnegan, Sunset Magazine).
