Kid’s Playhouse Childcare and Learning Center’s goal is to provide quality education for children of all backgrounds. All children will be treated with love and respect, always keeping their best interests at heart.Kid’s Playhouse Childcare and Learning Center Inc. was inaugurated in the summer of 1997 serving no more than 10 children with two employees. Over the next year, the center grew to serve sixty children, infants through preschoolers, with eight staff members. In 2001, the first steps were taken to assure high-quality education by applying for and attaining accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Through the combined efforts of administrators, staff, parents, and students; the standards were raised. The next step taken was the expansion of the facilities in 2004. Four more classrooms, a staff and parent parking lot and a larger playground area for the children were added. These renovations led to many more changes in services rendered. In 2004, Kid’s Playhouse Child Care Center became known as Kid’s Learning Center and expanded to include first through third grade. Kid’s Learning Center became reaccredited in 2007 by both NAEYC and Apple Accrediting Agencies. Kid’s Learning Center currently serves more than 110 children toddlers through third grade.
