Once upon a time there was a charming young jeweler named Gary Zoet... Shannon Fine Jewelry began as a simple repair facility with Gary Zoet opening a small repair shop called Arbar-K on FM 1960 West at Red Oak in 1979. After 10 years of doing repairs, he moved the store to 4950 Cypress Creek Parkway, where he still focused on repairs. He renamed the store Shannon Fine Jewelry after his oldest daughter. At this location, Shannon’s performed repairs for over 30 Houston area jewelry stores as well added a few cases of retail merchandise. Then in 1998, Gary joined forces with a lovable Court Jester, named John Wren, who travelled all the way from England to the land of The Woodlands. John helped expand the jewelry inventory and sales team into more of the look and feel of the Shannon’s you know and love today. John and Gary then opened a second location in 2006 at 1440 Lake Woodlands Drive, Suite I in the Pinecroft Shopping Center in The Woodlands (formerly known as Diamond Designs).
