Woodallen Photography was established in Houston, Texas in 1946 by owner/photographer Alan Montgomery’s grandfather, Alan (Woody) Woodallen. Like his grandfather, Alan has a special love for the camera, light and composition, while at the same time embracing the newest technologies. “My goal is always the same when I create a photograph. That goal is to keep the viewer in mind. What is the message? Does it denote the right degree of quality, action, background and mood – does it say professional? Is it the message my client wants to convey?”Woodallen Photography has worked with Fortune 500 Companies, “Mom & Pop” businesses and every size of business in between. We work with advertising agencies, art directors and directly with our clients. Traveling to some of the most densely populated and most remote areas in the world, our photographs convey our clients’ stories in the best possible way.Woodallen Photography recently donated over 700,000 photographs to the Houston Public Library to help preserve a visual history of business through the decades in Houston, Texas.
