The “roots” of Seals Ambulance Service can be traced back to 1965 when Ronald and Darlene Seals purchased the Paul C. Cory Funeral Home and instituted funeral home/ambulance service.As the changes in EMS began in the 1970{s, equipment and personnel were upgraded to reflect new governmental requirements. These changes included standardizing specialized equipment, as well as certification of personnel.In 1993, Randal Seals (current CEO) came on board as operations manager. In 1995 the company incorporated and was granted Intra-state Motor Carrier Authorization. In 1996 new corporate headquarters opened. In 1996 Randy and his wife Marie purchased the ambulance service. Advanced Life Support Services started in January of 1997. The Indianapolis station opened in 1998.Over the last five years, Seals Ambulance Service has added stations in Greenwood, Noblesville, and Anderson, Indiana. In 2007, Seals Ambulance was awarded the contract to become Preferred Provider for the entire Community Health Network including all Community Hospitals and Community Medical Centers in Indianapolis and Anderson.
