Initially opened in 1957, Hickman Mills Animal Hospital has continuously provided the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area with high quality and compassionate veterinary care for 53 years. Built by Dr. L.W. Williams on what was then a two-lane road called Blue Ridge, we have experienced only two ownership changes in more than 5 decades of service. The hospital was purchased by Dr. Scott Carlson in July 2009. At Hickman Mills Animal Hospital we are proud of our focus on preventive medicine and client education in an attempt to provide a happy and healthy life for your furry family members. Our full service veterinary facility, offers preventive medicine, medical, surgical, dental, lodging, and grooming care. We are equip with a full laboratory, comprehensive pharmacy, high-tech surgery suite, and state of the art radiology capability. Our staff has a combined 35 years of service and we are very proud to serve you and your family with a dedicated and compassionate staff who are excited to help care for your pets.
