Paula’s Canine Academy, established in 1994, offers guaranteed obedience training for most breeds of dogs, as well as provides Boarding, Doggie Day-Camp, and Grooming in a dog-friendly environment.Obedience training is a 2 week course that includes learning to heel, sit, down, stay, come, as well as enter and exit doors without bolting. Problems such as house breaking, excessive chewing, jumping and biting will be addressed as needed. A private lesson with the pet owner upon completion of the training will be given to help reinforce the training. You will also go home with a Training Dictionary for a quick reference. As a gift to our clients, we provide an additional lesson (within 30 days of your last day of training) to come back and work on any specific problem area(s) that may need polishing. Paula loves animals, and is especially partial to dogs. She loves them. They love her. There is no question about it when you see them together. Since her youth, Paula has been working with and training dogs. What started out as a personal interest and true love quickly became a way of life.
