The motto of First Baptist Church of Lake Placid is "knowing God{s heart! Sharing God{s hope!" The purpose of all we do and all we are is to know God more and to share His life and love with others. We do this through worship services - traditional and contemporary, through Bible studies, and through various ministry opportunities within the church and the community. We have a children{s program for infants through fifth grade and a youth program for middle school and senior high students.Each Sunday we gather together for worship. While we understand that worship itself is a value more than an activity we know that God desires His people to come together regularly to express worship to Him.
